Family Beach Holidays

Our family-friendly Beach Clubs will give kids an experience of a lifetime as they try new things and meet lots of new friends in our Kids Clubs whilst parents get some ‘me-time’ for water sports or just chilling out with a good book. Each of our waterfront hotels has a swimming pool, games, water sports and of course the beach.

For kids and grown-ups

Our holidays are ideal for parents who need some serious downtime or crave an action packed agenda from dawn ‘till dusk, safe in the knowledge their little-uns’ are being well cared for by our team.

Perhaps you may just want to relax by the hotel pool with a cool drink from the bar, play some tennis or join one of our free and sociable windsurf or sailing lessons to earn yourself a new RYA qualification during your stay?

For families together

Families also love doing things together like bike rides or paddle board cruises; going for a sail in a large cruising dinghy or some good old-fashioned bucket and spade beach-time.

Our beach clubs offer private gardens which front onto the beach. We offer a full range of windsurfing kit, bikes, kayaks and boats to suit all ages.

Our Free Kids Clubs

Our free Kids Clubs run 5 days a week and all day from 9.30 to 17.30 with a break for lunch. Drop your kids off at our Kids Club at your leisure, or leave them in all day long – it’s up to you. They will try lots of new activities, learn skills and experience new things whilst making loads of great friends along the way.

Idyllic Conditions

The warm waters of the Med’ shelve very gently up to our Beach Clubs and offer calm conditions so you can wade out for quite a distance without getting out of your depth.

The sea is very smooth for much of the day, and also offers the perfect opportunity for families wanting to experience water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kayaking or paddle boarding, especially in the morning and early afternoon when the wind is light. Children always love to swim in the crystal clear waters and mess about in the sea with snorkels and flippers.

Family Excursions

There is of course plenty to see and do in each of our resorts which are centred around a pretty harbour-side village with colourful cafes, souvenir shops and welcoming Tavernas’ with modest prices. We love to recommend a morning bike ride or paddleboard with an ice cream stop or coffee break in between. Or our weekly paddle cruise or dinghy cruise which families love to join in and do together.

Families can venture further afield to explore the beautiful region that surrounds our resorts, all of which have been designated areas of outstanding natural beauty or areas of historic and cultural value.

You might try island hopping (perhaps with bikes) to nearby Cephalonia from Vassiliki or Spetses and Hydra from Porto Heli. The peninsula of Pelion also offers boat trips and each resort has bike tours, walking guides and hire cars can be rented from all our hotels.

Family and interconnecting rooms

All our Beach Clubs have interconnecting rooms or family rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Interconnecting rooms are two rooms with an internal door to make a larger, more secure space with the kids.

Our family rooms have three, four or five beds in the same room so you can keep an eye on your little uns’ at all times. The best room shape en-suite bathroom and balconies with direct sea views, but they tend to sell first, so don’t leave it too long to book!

Just let us know what you need when you book, and we’ll see what discounts are available at the time.

What to bring?

When signing your child into our Kids Club we ask that they bring with them a day bag with a bottle or water, spare sun cream, clothes suitable for getting wet, a rash vest (Youth Squad get a free one)  a change of clothes, a Towel, a Sun hat and a favourite toy or comforter like a teddy for the younger children.

For younger children then we have cots and high chairs at our Beach Clubs, baby wipes, formula and nappies are always available from a shop nearby.

Children and Sailing

If your kids want to learn to windsurf, sail or improve their skills then they’ll love our Youth Squad. A Kids Club with dedicated coaching from our own RYA instructors where they will be windsurfing and sailing with other kids each day, (3hrs a day, 5 days a week). It runs in conjunction with our daytime Kids Club from 9.30 to 17.30 with a break for lunch, so parents can get a proper break if they choose!

Kids don't have to be in Youth Squad to go sailing; children age 13 and below are welcome to sail with a parent or guardian; while children age 14 + can join our free and inclusive adult teaching sessions.

If under 13’s want dedicated instruction then they will have to join our Youth Squad. For Kids in our Kids Clubs, they will be offered taster sessions for sailing and windsurfing.
