We pride ourselves on being a big hit with families, so it’s understandable that our Beach Clubs attract lots of children during the school holidays. They offer the perfect setting for family fun for kids of all ages with warm, shallow waters and calm morning conditions. The perfect environment for families to relax, sun bathe, play games or learn a new sport with expert help, always at hand.
We make sure kids have a great time: they love our free Active Clubs for ‘Sea Urchins’ and ‘Tigers’ from 4 to 13 years and Teenagers will meet new friends in our Teen clubs. Our excellent Youth Squad will keep the older kids busy getting new sailing or windsurfing qualifications following the RYA syllabus
Our free Kids Clubs run five days a week and all day from 9.30 to 17.30 with a break for lunch. Drop your kids off at Club, when you like, or leave them in all day long – it’s up to you. They’ll try lots of new activities, learn new skills and experience new things… whilst making lots of new friends along the way.
Our holidays are ideal for parents who need some serious downtime or crave an action-packed agenda from dawn ‘till dusk, safe in the knowledge their little-ones’ are having just as much fun with our caring team.
So relax, drop them off at club and chill by the pool with a drink from the bar, play some tennis or join one of our windsurf or sailing lessons to earn yourself a new RYA qualification during your stay.
But don’t be surprised when your kids prefer to stay in club than hang out with mum and dad!
Teens like to be independent, we know that! Often, they also need help to break the ice with each other because they love making new friends and sharing fun times doing active things together.
We offer coaching for older teens as part of our Youth Squad or free adult sessions for 14+, as well as a social club where they can hang out and make new friends over games of beach volleyball and frisbee.
Families love doing things together, like bike rides or paddleboard cruises, going for a sail in a cruising dinghy, or taking to the water in a flotilla of kayaks. And there’s always time for some good old-fashioned bucket-and-spade action on the beach. It is a seaside holiday after all.
Our beach clubs offer all the gear you’ll ever need for your family adventure from kid-size bikes to tiny windsurf rigs. And if you want to keep it local, then our Beach Club gardens front up to the waters’ edge for warm, clearwater bathing and snorkelling.
Although we also trade in high octane watersports in sailing nirvana, the winds are always gentle in the morning and build slowly after lunch, giving beginners and families more than enough time to get on the water and learn in comfort. The warm waters of the Med’ shelve very gently up to our Beach Clubs and you can wade out for quite a distance without getting out of depth.
The sea is very smooth for much of the day, the wind is predictable and our instructors are brilliant. That’s why you’ll pick up windsurfing, sailing, kayaking or paddle boarding much quicker than normal, and you’ll enjoy it all the more.
Each of our Beach Clubs will have all of the family facilities you should need. There’s always a pool, (complete with children’s bathing area), a kids creche with toys and games and an indoor facility with air conditioning to escape the heat. Bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-con, and earlier mealtimes can be arranged.
We stock plenty of small-size bikes, windsurf kit with tiny rigs and sails and dinghies to suit younger children. Mums, dads and our excellent watersports staff always love taking the really little ones out on joy rides in our cruising dinghies. So fear not – we’ve got it all covered, and more!
All of our Beach Clubs have family rooms or interconnecting rooms with en-suite bathrooms, air-con, fridges, plasma TV’s and tea and coffee making facilities to boot, plus an intoxicating sea view to literally write home about! Our interconnecting rooms are two rooms with an internal door to make a larger, more secure space for the kids.
Our family rooms have three, four or even five beds in the same room so you can keep an eye on your little uns’ at all times. But they do sell out first, so don’t leave it too long to book!
If you can’t find what you’re looking for online, then just give our expert sales team a call and we’ll help you navigate the options.
When signing your kids into cub it’s a great idea to bring along a day bag with a bottle of water, spare sun cream, clothes suitable for getting wet, a rash vest, (Youth Squaddies get a free rash vest), and a spare change of clothes. We’d also recommend packing a towel and a sun hat and of course a favourite toy for the younger children.
We do have cots and high chairs at our Beach Clubs. Baby wipes, formula, nappies and other baby supplies are always available from a shop nearby.
Kids from the age of 14 can join our free adult group lessons in all resorts. For the under 14’s we have a complimentary Kids Club (4-13) which offers sailing or windsurfing joy rides and tasters or fun in kayaks and paddleboards.
If you want more dedicated coaching then your budding young sailors will love our Youth Squad as they’ll be windsurfing or sailing with a bunch of other youngsters each day. It follows the RYA Youth scheme, is for 8-13 year olds and can be booked for a supplement.
Not everyone has to join a club and children under 13 can head out with a competent parent or guardian. Older kids who love watersports (14+) can join our adult teaching sessions.
We use super-stable boards and small boats with lightweight rigs and manageable sails. Our expert instructors are great with kids and will ensure that conditions are just right for maximum fun and learning so they have the best experience possible.
