About the Beach Club
You can get away from it all at Leda. It’s the perfect spot to switch off and relax, or strap in for some of the watersports action we’ve got ready to go. This paradise of a Beach Club is loved by our guests and those in the know come back year after year.
You’ll love the views of the crystal blue waters from the grounds of Leda. Its villas sit amongst gardens that wind their way down to a secluded beach, past the swimming pool, tennis court and crazy golf. Take the weight off on one of our sun loungers and start enjoying a week or two of safe, idyllic relaxation and family fun.
The Pelion peninsula is one of the most naturally beautiful regions in all of Greece with breathtaking views over the Pagestic Gulf. Typically Greek and traditional, Pelion offers a wonderful holiday experience with pretty villages, lots of culture, excursions and great walking that will tick all your boxes.
We’ve plenty for the active amongst you, too, with enough to keep great dinghy sailors and windsurfers on their toes, plus free (daily) sailing and windsurfing tuition using our own expert RYA instructors. There’s also fitness classes, yoga, Scuba diving, kayaking, paddle boarding, and water sports for the young children too.
You’re not just staying with us for the week (or two) - you’re part of the club. So all our activities, whether they’re on dry land or in the water (for you or the children) are included in your holiday. You can use our great range of bikes, kayaks , paddleboards, dinghies and beach kit all week; and go windsurfing and sailing as often as you choose. We’ve also got a crack team of RYA instructors delivering our free and inclusive daily programme of lessons for sailing and windsurfing; and for all levels - beginner to expert
Whatever you’re into, whatever your fitness, whatever you’re keen to try: you’ll be in your element with our huge range of all-inclusive activities for any age and ability.
You can even try scuba diving at the hotel’s own PADI dive centre and join us in the centres very own (and rather magnificent) Yoga house, which is from €4 per session. There’s daily aerobic classes in the pool and on the beach and two sessions of Pilates a week, (all run by the centre), and our own Healthy Elements programme of bike rides and paddle cruises.
Reckon you can fit even more in?
Well, we offer RYA courses for sailing and courses for windsurfing (beginner to advanced) which are from £69 for 10-12 hours tuition and follow the Ocean Elements ‘Fast Forward’ coaching technique with low groups sizes of (max) 6 guests. Pretty good value at only £6.90 an hour!
Wind & Sailing Conditions
The calm morning winds are perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking and learning to sail or windsurf. As the thermal wind builds after lunch we get some truly fantastic sailing and windsurfing which is manageable for all abilities (intermediate and up) and will keep even the most expert of sailors and windsurfers grinning with glee!
Expect a gentle Force 1-2 in the morning, a Force 3 after lunch and a Force 3-5 cross-offshore most afternoons. The conditions are made very manageable with our winning formula of great kit and top-notch instructors to look after you.
Activities on the shore
If you’re keen to laze around the beach club then there’s plenty to try: like a yoga or Pilates session, a beach workout in our Healthy Elements sessions or a game of tennis or a bike ride. Then again… you could just relax by the pool after a long lunch while the kids go wild in our clubs. They’ll meet so many new friends that it’ll be hard to tear them away.
For the more active land-lubber among you, try your hand at the local walking and bike trails for some epic coastal rides. Just grab a mountain bike from our racks or try one of our complimentary guided bike rides (we run three rides a day, for all levels) for a sociable bike ride, in company.
Food and Drink
Each morning you can enjoy a continental breakfast from the main restaurant which looks out over the sea. A perfect start to the day. You can expect with continental options like fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese, cereals, local breads, patisseries and cooked options, like eggs.
There is a bar and restaurant at the Club where you can buy lunch and dinner. We offer an upgrade to half board meals, (a 7 x 3 course evening meal package), from £89. And a full board package with lunches for a guest price from £159. More on meal upgrades
Bedrooms...take your pick
There's a stunning sea view from every room at Leda. We have a range of twin, triple, quad and family suites laid out in small villa-style houses which are nice and private. All rooms come with a balcony or terrace for the all-important art of sun worshipping, book reading and lazily watching the action on the water below. Each room has a full en-suite bathroom (of course!), air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, a fridge and Satellite TV with English stations. And tea and coffee making facilities.
Perfect for all the family
Hotel Leda is just a short transfer from the airport, (just over an hour), and we’re always prepped and ready for the school holidays. Expect a full range of activities for kids and our all-inclusive Active Kids Clubs, which’ll give your kids lots of new experiences while you get a well deserved breather!
Our two Kids Club groups: Sea Urchins for the 4-7’s and Sea Tigers for 8-12’s will introduce little ones to water sports and help progress their appreciation of sailing and windsurfing. It’s not all about the water - there’s lots of shore-based activities for them to get stuck into, too!
We have family quad and interconnecting rooms and if you’re travelling with babies or toddlers there's a crèche where you can make feeds, warm milk and play with your little-ones out of the sun. Your kids will love the extensive gardens of Leda, its excellent swimming pool and the play areas dotted around the grounds with swings, slides, crazy golf and more.
