About Kos

Kos is one of Greece’s fabulous Dodecanese islands. Islands which are known for their abundant sandy beaches, reliable winds, (calm in the morning and stronger in the afternoon), and incredibly clear ‘emerald-colour’ waters which make swimming and bathing a dream.

With a coastline that stretches over 290 kilometres, Kos has more than enough sandy beaches from white sand hideaways and hidden coves to golden sand beaches with beach-bars and water sports.

Inland, the island is dotted with colourful villages, party towns (with English pubs and clubs) where they dance all night.

For the less hedonistic, discover its ancient ruins, landmarks and tourist sights. Its hillsides are resplendent in wild flowers and stunning scenery rewards you from every corner.

Useful Extras
  • Youth Squad 5 day: £169 (1 wk) £289 (2 wk)

  • Private lessons: sailing/windsurfing: 1hr one-to-one £29 | 2hrs one-to-one £49 | 1hr one-to-two £49 | 2hrs one-to-two £69

Great Things To Try
  • Learn to Windsurf or perfect your skills with us

  • Have a Coffee in a Ghost Village

  • Try Scuba Diving (At Akti Beach Club)

Kos Resort

Akti beach offers the perfect base to see the best sights of the island. Grab one of our mountain bikes or rent a car or moped from reception and you can explore to your heart’s content.

Alternatively, just stay onsite for your week as most people do, because there’s more than enough inclusive activities to get stuck into.

You can visit its many ancient landmarks, mountain villages and beaches, or discover the lively town of Kardamena which is just a short bike ride away.

All this (and the activities at the club itself) gives non water sports enthusiasts as much to do as the ‘watery folk’ among you.
