Vassiliki Stay & Sail

A great way to combine one of our Lefkada Sailing Holidays with a relaxing week at our Beach Club in Vassiliki.

After a fun-filled week at our beach hotel making use of our sailing dinghies and windsurf kit, bikes and kids clubs; then take to the crystal-clear waters of the Southern Ionian for a week of sailing your own yacht on a bareboat basis so you have the freedom to discover the many beautiful islands that surround the local area.

Average Resort Temps

Week 1 - Surf Hotel Beach Club

Spend week one relaxing in our beautiful beach club in Vassiliki, relaxing and enjoying activities at our superb Surf Hotel Beach Club. We include Flights, (Gatwick/Manchester), and use of all the latest Windsurf kit, sailing dinghies with RYA tuition all week.

You can also use our range of Paddleboards, kayaks and Mountain Bikes at your leisure, and even make use of our fabulous Kids Clubs for 4-13 year olds.

Vassiliki has many tours and excursions with island hopping to historic villages like Ithaca and Cephalonia or secluded bays and lovely white-sand beaches nearby.

Week 2 - Yacht Charter or Flotilla

South Ionian

We transfer you down to our marina yacht base to sail the idyllic Southern Ionian for week two aboard your chosen Yacht.

You get a full yacht handover and training on systems and support throughout your week where Flotilla sailors will benefit from our expertise which is always close to hand.

Then, when it's time to depart we will meet and greet you at the marina for your transfer and flight home.

We also provide your marine Insurance and our Charter Pack to include: the first tank of diesel and water, basic starter pack with bed linen and towels and berthing fees for the first and last night. You will very rarely need to pay additional mooring fees throughout the week.

Sailing Experience & Qualifications

To charter a yacht in Greece you will need some previous yacht sailing experience and a Day Skipper (non-tidal) qualification, or an ICC certificate, which is generally a half day assessment that can easily be done in the UK at an RYA Training Centre. We also ask that at least two persons aboard are aged 18 or over and have experience of yacht sailing.
