We can’t think of many better things to do on another sunny day in paradise, than dinghy sailing in warm waters with reliable thermal winds push you along. Our sailing holidays are suitable for everyone and sailing tuition is included on your holiday.
Whatever your level, whatever your fitness, whatever you want to achieve we’ve got all the kit and tuition you’ll ever need. Our top-notch Royal Yachting Association (RYA) instructors love teaching sailing to everyone from tentative beginners to advanced racers and first time foilers - whether you're looking to gain a qualification or you're just sailing for fun.
We provide a daily programme of free-and-inclusive lessons for beginners and Intermediates with some advanced techniques like sailing with spinnakers. They’re run by our own RYA instructors and available for five days a week. Each session lasts up to 1.5 hours and we’ll teach techniques for every skill: like tacking and gybing to capsize and recovery. We’ll also cover some advanced modules like seamanship, performance sailing and even spinnakers .
If you’re a complete beginner then make use of our intensive ‘Start Sailing’ and ‘Start Windsurfing’ booster lesson at the start of the week. These complimentary sessions are lots of fun and designed to equip you with the necessary skills to free-sail our dinghies and boards all week, in calm conditions.
As well as our free daily lessons, you can top-up with an RYA course (Level 1-4) to get even more focussed tuition and work towards a level of the RYA syllabus. From only £69 for 10-12 hours tuition.
If you’ve done a little sailing before, there's no need to join a lesson (unless you want to), simply choose a dinghy, let the beach team know and head out into our sailing area. Our water sports centre is open each day from 9.30am until the last guest comes off the water and it’ll remain open over lunch, so you can sail non-stop if you want to!
You will be able to 'free-sail' any of our boats, catamarans and even the latest performance boats for no extra charge. Our instructors are on always hand to help and advise whether you’re in a lesson or not. They’re always on the beach and on hand to help you rig-up and get launched.
We’ve hand-picked the best dinghies and Catamarans to suit the local sailing conditions, from Laser, RS, Hartley and Topper. You’ll get to choose from a fleet of well kept, bang-up-to-date boats and there’s more kit than you’ll ever need! The more experienced sailors will enjoy our performance craft such as the RS Aero, RS 100, 200, 500 and various Catamarans. All boats are free to use.
We love teaching our guests to sail. It’s what we do best and probably why 98% of clients rate our tuition as ‘Excellent’*. It’s a lot of fun to learn in a group with other guests and you can even go home with a new RYA qualification at the end of your stay.
We use our own British RYA instructors and they’re a lot of fun! They will make each session enjoyable and safe, using the latest kit and teaching practices which follow the Ocean Elements Fast Forward coaching technique.

We run daily racing and mini-regattas in all our clubs, for all levels (Improver and up) to join throughout the week. We will cover the basic rules of racing in our free daily lessons and always before a race. Our daily races are light hearted and aimed at all levels, beginner to expert. We’ll also run a bigger mid-week and end-of-week regatta for class boats like the Laser fleet and handicap racing for mixed fleets. It’s all about taking part and having fun, (with prizes too!). A chance to show your competitive side!
In our Complete Level 4 course, we will cover ‘Start Racing’ with starting, finishing, tactics, racing techniques and the basic rules of racing.
Discover the adventurous world of dinghy cruising as we offer you the opportunity to take part in our longer-distance cruises as we cruise in company to a nearby island or ‘secret-beach’ stopover with instructors and support boats to guide the flotilla along.
DInghy cruises generally take place at the middle of the week and involve all craft from single and double handed boats to family boats. So choose your vessel and pick your crew, sign up and get involved!
You will learn about cruise planning, safety, basic navigation and long distance sailing skills to give you a taste for this truly inspirational past-time.
Available in all our centres: Half to 3/4 day.
We offer a FREE ‘Intro to Foiling’ taster session for intermediate sailors in Porto Heli, Vassiliki & Kos. It’s run by our own foiling instructors and designed to help you understand the basics and have your first go in one of our foiling boats. It’s an experience you won’t forget, and we’ll make it easy and safe for you to learn.
We also offer the RYA ‘First Flight’ course and the RYA ‘Sustained Flight’ course for more in-depth foiling. A must-do course for any aspiring foilers.
If you would like some more focussed tuition during your week, (to add to our daily programme of free tuition), and work towards a level of the RYA syllabus, then we’ll have the course for you! Our RYA courses run in smaller group sizes and follow the Ocean Elements Fast Forward coaching principles for faster learning. Afterwards, you’ll have earned a new, internationally recognised, RYA sailing qualification and made some great sailing friends along the way.
You can book yourself onto a course either before you depart (recommended) or when you arrive.
