We love showing our guests a great time on the water! Teaching people to sail, windsurf, paddleboard and kayak is what we do best, and we do it in a fun and sociable way, using our tried and tested ‘Fast Forward’ coaching technique and low group sizes (max 6 persons) to make the learning curve super quick.
Learning to windsurf or sail is not as hard as you might think. We’ve introduced thousands of guests to watersports over the last decade and our great reputation keeps them coming back each year. You’ll even go home with a new RYA qualification if you join our fun tuition courses, which cater for beginner to advanced.
Throughout the summer our most popular courses are always beginner and intermediate sailing and windsurfing. Here are some of the reasons why Ocean Elements gets 98% ‘Excellence’ scores for our tuition.
It’s never been easier to learn water sports! Aided with the latest ‘bang-up-to-date’ windsurf and sailing equipment at all our Beach Clubs, and a crack-team of RYA instructors to hand - we can make the learning curve fast and enjoyable for all ages and abilities. Warm water and reliable winds also make the experience more enjoyable.
Whatever your age – from 4 years to 70+ (yes we’ve had a few 70 year olds at our clubs) you’ll all enjoy our fun and sociable RYA courses of lessons which start at only £69 (special guest-price). Complete the 10 hours of coaching and we’ll send you home a fully-fledged windsurfer or sailor.
Kids age 4-12 years will love to experience water sports tasters with our RYA instructors in our (free) kids clubs which run five to six days a week.
For the ‘young guns’ out there (age 8-13) they’ll excel in our Youth Squad which is dedicated RYA tuition in both windsurfing and sailing – stages 1-4.
Kids over the age of 13 can join our free adult Start Windsurf and Sailing lessons and free-sail our great kit all week.
If you can already sail or windsurf then you don’t need to join a group lesson if you’d prefer to do your own thing.
As a complete beginner you can join our free Start Windsurf and Sailing lessons which should set you up with the skills to free-sail all our great kit for the rest of your week, in calm conditions. If you’d like more coaching then our courses and private lessons are readily available.
Simply choose a boat and let the beach staff know and they’ll help you rig up and get launched before you head out into our sailing area.
All our Clubs offer idyllic conditions for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, (SUP). The calm mornings are ideal for a leisurely cruise around the bay or a core body workout - whichever your preference.
Our free 'Intro to SUP' lesson will get first-timers on the water and you'll be up and paddling in about 30 minutes. SUP-ing is not as hard as you might think and like kayaking, (with modern and stable kayaks), suits all ages from 4 years to 70 years plus!
You can grab a kayak or a SUP from our racks at any time of the day to explore the bay; and why not join our popular and sociable mid-week Paddle Cruise for a longer distance trip in company with other guests to a nearby beach.
