The Greeks are known for their hospitality. Eating out in the local taverna’s is a memorable experience and by far the most popular option for those who want to try a meal out; simply because the food is so good, very inexpensive and the welcome is so warm.
Expect all kinds of local and international favourites, from Moussaka to Pizza / Pasta, and fresh fish to rump steaks, maybe even rabbit! Most meals are served with fries or fresh Greek salads, which are (naturally) a speciality.
Popular with Athenians yet with a strong link to Greek (and civilisation's) past, Porto Heli has a strong feeling of the cosmopolitan about it.
The cafè / taverna culture is certainly very much alive in the old town, adding to the ambience and history of this seafaring town.
There really is something for everybody, from traditional tavernas and cocktail bars to late night clubs and more chilled venues. The Nautica Bay Hotel is near enough to the action for it to not be a slog to get there but, far enough away that there is no disruption!
Many will prefer just to relax and enjoy the comforts of our hotel and some of the quieter bars nearby, but for those that like a party Porto Heli has plenty to offer.
