Sailing for Experts!

Expert sailors will have plenty to get the pulse racing with an exciting range of high-performance boats on offer at all our centres and thermal winds which provide reliable and consistent conditions every day.

As a progressive intermediate or more advanced sailor, you will be able to 'free sail' any of our boats including our performance craft. Our beach staff will rig, tune and de-rig kit for you. And don't worry about boat availability; we have one of the most diverse ranges of boats, and the largest guest-to-boat ratio in the industry.

Make use of our free and inclusive “advanced teaching modules” which run for 2 to 5 days a week (depending on participant numbers) when our advanced level instructors help you with specialist skills like spinnaker handling and performance sailing or dinghy cruising.

Develop your techniques and skills to enable you to confidently take part in a higher level competition.

Day Sailing

This module will look at dinghy cruising and help you to plan and execute a cruise for a variety of conditions.

Sailing with Spinnakers

This module will help you confidently use an asymmetric spinnaker on board a double hander like the Bahia. It will focus on launch and drop techniques, sailing with spinnakers and recovery if it all goes wrong!

Performance Sailing

This module aims to help you to sail faster and more efficiently in all conditions. An introduction to a modern and high-tech performance boat or skiff like the RS 100 or Aero. Let us help you step up into a performance machine!

Who Can Join?

All ages (14+) and fitness levels are welcome, so come and join the fun, we ask that you either have your Level 3 or can demonstrate an ability equivalent to level 3. Group sessions are very sociable and range in size with a maximum 6:1 student/instructor ratio.

Try Foiling

We are one of the first holiday companies to offer foiling this summer. So join our expert foiling instructors in Porto Heli and learn to sail the incredible RS Aero adapted for use with GlideFree foils.

What to Expect

All of our Beach clubs and destinations are ideal for advanced sailors. The morning calm is great for beginners and practising advanced techniques like spinnaker handling and the afternoon's thermal winds switches on like clock-work each day to offer a consistent breeze; F3-4 in Porto Heli, F3-5 in Horto-Pelion and F5-6 in Vassiliki.

As a high-level sailor, you will be able to use all our boats and Free Sail all week or take part in a teaching group for a specific module.

Our teaching groups are fun and very sociable and our advanced modules will run for 2.5 to 3 hours per session. We will offer 2 to 5 sessions per week depending on numbers. Our expert level instructors will also focus on areas that you want to look at and allow you to use our Performance boats or provide an introduction to using them if you need.

There will be some shore time but the majority time is spent in boats, going fast and learning advanced techniques from very professional and highly skilled dinghy sailing instructors. Ask questions and they will endeavour to help with techniques and tailor a programme to suit areas you want to focus on.

Private tuition - Advanced

In all centres we offer additional tuition from beginner to advanced, should you need it to supplement our free tuition. This is particularly useful if you are looking to focus on a technique one-to-one. The Advanced modules are run by our own advanced-level instructors and, from £41 per hour, offer exceptional value-for-money. You can join as a solo or a group of two persons.

  • • One hour Private Lesson 1 to 1 (Beginner to Advanced) £41/hr
  • • One hour Private Lesson 1 to 1 (Beginner to Advanced) £40/2hrs
  • • One hour Private Lesson 1 to 2 (Beginner to Advanced) £64/hr
  • • One hour Private Lesson 1 to 2 (Beginner to Advanced) £86/2hrs

The Best Equipment

At all our Beach Clubs we offer Performance boats for you to use such as the RS 100, RS 200 and RS 500 for no extra charge. Perhaps you want to perfect your spinnaker handling, focus on your race tactics or step up into a performance skiff for the first time? Well, our expert instructors can show you how.

There are always plenty of boats to go round and if you want the best choice of boats then try our Nautica bay Beachclub.

Dinghy Cruising

We also offer sociable dinghy cruises where conditions allow. These are longer-distance half day cruises with support boats on hand so you can get a feel for distance sailing in company. This is better for 2-handed boats and we normally offer technical clinics along the way aimed at cruise planning techniques.

The small flotilla of dinghies will often cruise to another island or beach for a mid-morning stop over for some swimming or a coffee and ice cream. Longer distance cruises are well-planned events which will always have instructors and support boats on hand.

Our RYA Instructors

Our friendly team of British instructors are all fully qualified RYA (Royal Yachting Association) professionals. They are on hand all day to help rig boats, teach sailing groups, give advice, tips and guidance for all levels from beginner to advanced. They play an active role both on and off the beach in all parts of your holiday, so outside of lessons they are there to help in any way that they can.

Private Tuition

Although our holidays include enough tuition to cover a level or module of the RYA syllabus, some guests prefer extra tuition to help work on a specific technique. Private tuition is available in resort and treated as a paid for extra in the resort. Lessons start at £41 per hour for one-on-one tuition and support boat cover.
